For the uninitiated he was an aspiring popstar who gave that response to one of Simon Cowell's rude remarks when auditioning on the tv show Talent America (or something like that). He proceeded to some notoriety and song recordings despite his lack of singing ability - but has now settled for employment in criminology instead of showbiz it seems.
LOL - I was amused to think of skinnykid being a contortionist and embracing his bum! Seriously though, even when genetics will inevitably not always meet aesthetics to our satisfaction, don't get like this: http://articles.muscletalk.co.uk/art...e-abscess6.jpg (it is a drain placed after surgery for a seriously infected abcess which was close to life-threatening and which was endured by a bodybuilder after injecting himself with steroids to improve his glutes) |
Thanks for the advice! I won't think of using steroids or injections to achieve the aesthetic goals. I would only use trainings to improve my body.

Truly the only way I know to get the physical tone of a swimmer is to start team swimming at the age of about eight. Be doing about five thousand yards twice a day by seventeen. Have good eating habits, know your nutrition needs and stay away from drugs and alcohol. Hope this helps.
|
Agree! Diet and habit of swimming/aerobics keep the body in physical tone!

Oh! Sh*t !
Look at those biceps ! :D Those eyes LOL ! Although the suit looking better with the front curved, the original suit not bad in style either! |
Lol
Know what you mean - I can't make up my mind between true and false either !
|
I still Love the original suit. What a good looking chap btw. Im too lazy to have that physique.

Be reasonable guys!
I am an avid lap swimmer at the Y and swim in speedos most of the time. This morning I wore a red Caussie which is Nylon. I walk through 2 locker rooms, showers and two pool areas before I get in the water. The suit has 2" sides but I will get a 3 next time. As the red is semi transparent-mostly where it hugs the butt cheeks I won't get another red. I wear speedos but I'm not hung up with all these concerns that appear on the site time after time. In the first place you have to be comfortable yourself in your suit let alone what others might feel. I also make it a point to talk with people while wearing speedos out of the pool. It just seems to be a place where you can appropriatly wear them without threatening them or making them uncomfortable-you are there to swim and so is every body else. I really feel that my example has caused many to also try them out!
|
Well put....
(I must just say cossie on behalf of all Aussies)
(or swimmers or bathers of course) |
Spelling
Byron: Did I spell it wrong-it is written in script on the front of the suit. The tab says made in Australia and also mentions the possibility of being transparent. I do have a HOM which is white but not so revealing as one would think!
|
Oz slang
LOL - that got me going and I first of all have to correct myself with coZZie for swimsuits in Oz . Caussie is nowhere defined but I suspect a little wordplay is being tried by AB's Marketing Dept. so that the new word might become iconic for the brand, as with speedo over the years . Also an emphasis on "Made in Australia" is important - Speedos are not any more and we know only too well how competitive Chinese brands are also entering the market in abundance.
|
Oh dear !
Forget all I said Dorcas. I have never heard of them but Louis reminds me that Caussie exists as a separate Australian brand in nylon suits ,with a different logo - and are based in Brookvale (northern suburb of Sydney).
As penance I must at least give the link for anyone interested: http://www.caussie.com.au |
The linked swimsuit reminds me of the nylon suits from high school but less on the sides. Also reminds me of the 100% Morona(sp) bikini underwear Target used to sell.

Nylon!
Byron: The nylon suits are great =light weight and very fast drying as opposed to some. This is also true of short short boxer trunks. When I wear the trunks I use a jock or thong. I do not wear briefs for work or hanging out especially if I'm in rough sailing weather on a hot day. I have to have pockets for tools and on the docks too. I find that briefs chafe the groin area in hot weather so I wear loose fitting boxers to keep my junk cool. I will at times for a motorcycle run wear briefs under shorts so I can take a swim in a pond etc. while en route on a hot day. I just remount and run with the suit until it dries which doesnt take long- pull off and continue on commando. Just spread your legs and let in the breeze

al fresco
Wow - the swimming/biking/drying/commando sequence brings back youthful memories - though in my case I had the pedalling kind of bike , so not quite the same exhiliration I guess (not to mention so few suitable (pun intended) days available in the summer in our climate).
Speaking of which I am curious about bikers and their gear when riding in a hot-weather state like CA. From what little I have seen from movies they would likely get very warm and uncomfortable if fully leathered-up - or does speed alone provide the required ventilation? |
Calfornia Cruising!
Byron: California is a big long state-a big range of temps. Leathers protect the body-even from the heat of the bike engine-great to put on chaps bareass and ride the seat over a towel, For leather guys just put the gear over your upper body with no other clothes. The most comfortable suit all round for me is a Gazell-100% cotton-not made any more damit. I also had some onion skins from IM but were stolen out of my locker and I later saw a guy working out wearing them! Did'nt quite dare to say anything in the busy gym besides he looked great in them. John from VT

Byron, wow, just new to this thread and I'm way impressed with the pictures you posted throughout, as well as turning me on to yet another Australian manufacture of hot swimwear! You're a wellspring of knowledge (and hot tumbler pictures!)
As far as the original post, I think the two gents in their wider side seamed suits look perfectly hot. Sometimes it's nice to show a little less skin! Depending on the guy's definition, his butt or abs, it could even be a more flattering cut. My boyfriend doesn't really think he looks good in anything with less than a 2" side seam. He finds it cuts him weird across the back. The larger side seam hits him at his narrowest spot and makes him look leaner. So there is that! |
seams
Yes, the little differences can make a big difference and although it is worth the occasional experimentation I am sure many members will know what suits them best and decide they are happier with their favorite xxxxx.
I would think for example that there are not many fans of sungas on the forum but a Brazilian guy on the beach with the right body and just the right cut of his suit can look stunning. As for pics., often difficult to find something a little out of the ordinary. There are millions out there for all to see but I would like all those contributors not to do so much reblogging (I end up saying "seen that" so often I sound like a parrot*). *(off topic): I was always surprised that the Monty Python series went down quite well in the US so does anyone remember the parrot sketch? (the deceased Norwegian Blue with beautiful plumage) |
Yeah, you do sort of find your favorites, eh? Although I like just about anything. Still, I definitely prefer a full cut back or a thong. Just not sure my bum is muscled enough to pull off those odd angles that cut directly across the cheeks or slightly above or blah, blah, blah. So many options!
Right now it seems Andrew Christian is a huge rage in gay America. It seems most of the 20somethings own at least one pair! Personally, I don't like how it toucans one's anatomy in the front. Maybe I'm more a purist and like a classic, streamlined, athletic bulge. (For myself, of course. If a gent is sporting a toucan in the front, I'll still look!) Unfortunately I don't remember the parrot sketch. Although I can't hear the word "shrubbery" without thinking of MP. |
Mad Pythons
LOL - even score there - I have just had to acquaint myself with the knights and shrubbery sketch.
Btw, AC has plenty of promo. vids. on YouTube (the production costs of which some say are reflected in the prices of their speedos) |

Yes, the AC vids... Oh, those are fun. Silly. Sexy. And yeah, probably because of the high production value the cost of the underwear and swimwear goes up, up, up, much like the bulge boosters in the front of the products. Up, up and up!
I do have one AC swimsuit and I do actually like it a lot. I don't believe the side seam to exceed 2". I had purchased 2 others from Amazon. They were both under $20, which seemed pretty reasonable. But alas, they looked silly on me. Very silly. Here's the one I kept: |

Its not the suit that makes the suit sexy -- its the man wearing it. Don't tell me you've never seen a guy in board shorts that were riding so low pubes were showing you thought how sexy he was. May a little imagination creates sexy. I like 2-3" because they have need to be pulled out of my but crack all the time. Those 1" suits too often turn into uncomfortable thongs |
It's 1/2 inch maximum for me. A string suits me best of all.
