I did a search on Ebay for men's swimwear and found Seobean, Aqux, Baskit, etc..etc.

Most of them ship from China.

Anybody have any experience with these hot bikinis?

They look great in the pics, but is the quality there?

Oh, I hate the fact that Aqux puts there company label on the front. :(

There is always a risk in buying new or used goods from Ebay, you must accept this risk and only gamble what you can afford to lose.
I have both Aqux and (T) suits and they came on time and are well made. The problem with men's bikini suits made in China for the Asian market is that they are usually on the small side 30" sometimes being considered large, so you must upsize on these suits. Read all the data on sizing before you order, it may appear confusing.

Look at the pictures carefully, these Chinese suits tend to be very brief and low cut, if you are not into this look then don't buy. If you are not used to wearing a 1"-2" sided suit that is very low at the back then wear them around the house and have a shower in them before taking them to a public pool or beach. Remember that if you get excited in a low cut suit you may "pop out" so do up the waist cord.

If you buy one of these suits, even if you are too shy to wear it outside the house, enjoy it!

the cheapest ones often have high shipping rates. look for the best deal price + shipping, which is sometimes free

I'm specifically looking for swimwear, skimpy looks, 1-1.5" sideseam and must have a drawstring.

None of them have drawstrings :(

I hate when suits slip off of me when diving or swimming!

First -- anytime you buy from EBay it is a crap shoot. However, buying out of Asia is the worst. Never buy any non Asian trademark (Andrew Christian, Aussiebum, etc) they are probably counterfeit.
The Asian makes (Soebean etc) are well made and nice little suits -- especially for the money. The problem is that if you are anything larger than Medium you can forget it. I am a 32-33 with a descent size package and bubble butt and I can wear some of them, but would hesitate in a public situation. Little movement or coming out of the ocean or pool leaves the top of my shaft showing and a major butt cleavage before I hike them back up.
For thin size medium or small, they are great suits.

My suits both have draw strings.
No problem there.

which suits do you have that contain a drawstring? I was looking for the Seobean, T, or any others that looks similar to the above mentioned.

I have the navy/grey (T) suit and the red white +GUARD Aqux suit.
Both have draw strings.
The Aqux has a mesh drained stripe down the back.

Never had a problem with the seobean swimsuits I wear for lap swimming. If you look on ebay you can find us sellers. When buying might want to size up. Have noticed some of the newer colors this year are running closer to true us sizes. So pay attention to that or ask tje person you are buying from.

Maybe I shouldn't have but I have just ordered this item in light blue, size XL.
It might be on the small size for me.

Interesting design mix of speedo and mock split running short I haven't seen before.
Seller in China says no brand but there's a label on there spelling something.
Anyway, not a great loss at £3.98 if unsuitable.

So this begs the question... Drawstrings in or out?

I had a suit like that in black with red trim in the early 1980's. I loved it until it wore out and couldn't find another one.
The usual price for this suit on Ebay and Amazon is £13, the price I paid is a bargain if the suit arrives.

Drawstrings in while swimming seriously as training.
Drawstrings out if I want to catch the eye of someone passing by for half a second longer.

Further to post#9 Louis sees this - not from Asia but seller is I would guess the familiar one from West Hollywood with his usual inflated price expectations:

Where he gets a brand new 28" from I do not know - nor who on the GB teams would have required that small size - but whilst there also check prices on the seller's other similar items

I've purchased two pair of Desmit bikinis, a blue/white and a green/black pair. I also purchased a pair of insanely skimpy Seobeans. I had to buy a size larger as all suits are Asian sized. All three fit very nicely and actually form very nicely to the contours of my butt. I spent, with shipping included, no more than $7 US a piece on them. Aside from a pair of AussieBums, the Desmits are the most comfortable suits I own right now. I resold the Seobean just because it was very skimpy but I doubled my money on it. I recommend giving these suits at least a try. You'll be surprised.

Looking at the Ebay link I see lots of photos of Tom Daley in this type of Addidas suit but I don't see a photo of the actual suit and it's packaging. I find this suspicious and suspect the authenticity of the sale, even if I had too much money I wouldn't buy this item.

LOL, yes - does this guy, whoever he is , actually find mugs to pay the ridiculous prices he asks for the dubious goods he puts up ?

Byron

LOL - do you like your new suit ? Clearly Drenalin has found DESMIT (which he likes) and I have read my "OBSMIT" clearly as DESMIIT* now (and that was whilst trying to find Louis's A-surfs - which remain a complete mystery).

*Are the big boys starting to worry? - these new brand names from China seem to be appearing almost every week now.

My Desmit suit has arrived, no badly made, hot style and good fit. dare I wear it in a public pool?
Will be testing it in the shower tonight to see how it goes when wet.
This is the mini running shorts style, in light blue with white trim.

Byron

Who started that hot style? I like it - seems to be sexy as something between bikini and square cut (and might even become persuasive for some frightened of 1" side seams, or less).

Would you mind posting a pic of this suit, please? I would like to see which one it exactly is.
Thanks

Here is the link again:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310684076182

My ones are the light blue with black waistband and white edge trim.
This is definitely a waist cord on the outside swim suit.

I tried them in the shower, they cling nicely and don't show too much through them.

This is a 3" side suit.

They are very nice! Seems like they stay tight on the skin.

They do look appealing and their price seems fantastic. Are they of durable quality?
