We had to wear these shorts for our physical, I NEVER objected. They had a short inseam (6 in possibly?), no fly, no mesh but they felt great. So good I did think of "borrowing" a pair.
Anyone know how I can locate these. Been doing a lot of searching, but I can't seem to find the right one. Hopefully they are still made.
Thanks

In order to see whether you are wasting your time why not ask the manufacturer in Maryland?

And they could not help. How a company could not give me a recommendation on shorts they make today that is very close to their very first.
Possibly cheaper made, thinner material, all around "not as good". Who knows.

A bit of a disappointment there especially as they are are a company which doesn't have to research back sixty years. Their shorts do come up on eBay but probably not the originals you want (they seem to be going all out for sports teams' sponsorship on shirts these days eg Tottenham Hotspur - a London football (soccer) club).

It is a shame. They asked me what the numbers of the style were on the tag, yea right.
I just want a light compression and short leg length. EastBay has items just as good but ALOT cheaper.
I can't give UA my money to a company that did not seem to care.

All style and no substance as we say. Look at their website and it is full of wonderful assurances about how they welcome the opportunity to help their customers (started by an ex professional footballer apparently who got to thinking about his shorts being dry after a match but his shirt always soaked with perspiration - and so a new 'wicking' material was devised for the UA manufacture).

Looks close. I guess I have to go to Dicks or Sports Authority and actually look at the items. They had a simple, durable, quality short, not hi-tech and not as good.
Again I will contact Eastbay and see what they recommend.

Sorry to say, no. They were not that flashy, with the yellow.
Eastbay seems to have what I want, and I have a question into them concerning their product. They are very quick to reply. Price WAY lower and, if the answers are what I am looking for, will let you all know.

An update, if anyone cares.
Easybay responded in 4 hours with all the right questions. Two shorts for $20. I am sure they are not as rugged at UA, but I can by many more for their one piece price.
Will let you know if the "feel" the same as the ones I was trying to find

For the - what ever it is worth department:
The two shorts arrived in quick order. It is unfortunate that there were not what I was expecting, but that is mail order.
The length is right, but they are not made of just nylon/lycra, that I believe the original ones were. With all this add on wicking, odor control, etc. I believe it changes the feel of the nylon/lycra.
I will keep them, but not overly happy.
Will keep looking.

.......but know how you feel as I long ago gave up still finding my favorite Jantzen brief of many years past (in a very comfortable fabric which was rubberised to a degree as I recall)

Have you looked at the Starter ones at Wal Mart? They are only $12. I like them.

Forgot about them. I have a few from long days gone by. Not sure if I will fit into them now (sorry to say)

These come in a large range of sizes, from S to XL and maybe even XXL. Interestingly they are in all the stores but not on line

Do a search on Amazon for "mens coimpression shorts" There is an amazing collection there from under $10 to some very expensive ones. The Champion ones are particularly nice, as well as being bargain-priced.

If I start looking today, I will get nothing done. I seem to get sucked into the searching mode and never come out. Will wait for a rainy cold day that are soon coming.
