I see Tom Daley usually wears very small speedos. He looks great in them.

I wonder , which brands or styles are tight fitting? I see many olympic divers wear skimpier suits. If I wanted to buy skimpy bikinis, what do you recommend? of course I'm not talking about koala swim style hehe (which I think is extreme!) I only talking about regular, but tight fitting swimsuits.

thanks!

There is the Japanese Aqux brand its very tiny. Seobean which is Chinese. You can Google or Bing "Japanese swimwear" to get a bunch more sites.

I know you like waterpolo suits from your earlier post. Check out Turbo, they have awesome designs and I find them a bit more narrow on the sides than others. Also, some Tyr suits are more narrow. If you want to go more daring, Aussiebum has some interesting designs.

Check Aliexpress.com to Import Aqux. Amazon carries some Seobean but those are sent from China too. Swimoutlet.com carries the "Sporti Euro brief, which is very skimpy too" All of these fit very low in the rear and size up to get a bit more butt coverage. The Sporti stuff is pretty much true to US sizes, but on SEobean and Aqux, figure a M as approximately equivalent to a US S (28-30) and a L as equivalent to a US M (32).

None of these are expensive, typically $12-$15 per suit, and the quality is great, as good if not better than the major US brands. Check some of my other posts on SEobean, Aqux and Sporti for photos

The Arena fit is popular with some Japanese guys - and again Joe Sneider (if there is space enough for you).

Sebbie has already covered that in posts above.

Also, remember that many divers and swimmers like to 'downsize' their suits for a tighter, more streamlined fit - this is one reason their suits often are skimpier. Many college guys who wear a size 30" or 32" suit for practice will squeeze into a 28" - even 26" - for a swim meet.

Always liked these suits (which I think are on Team Germany divers)

wow byron. that last pic was exactly what I meant.

thanks everybody for each advice about skimpy swimsuits. I looked for every advice you wrote in this thread and it's very difficult to choose the beat one since all look excellent.

and by the way, once again I say, it makes me feel happy finding a web community like this!

remember that the shape of your body has a lot of effect on how the suit will fit. If you have a lean body and relatively small bum, the suits will have a smaller look cuz you can downsize without looking like a sausage squeezed into the suit. Measure the distance from the bottom of the crotch (the seam) to the top of the suit. The less it is the lower it rides - regardless of the side measurements.

LOL - opposite of skimpy - this would I think be against competition rules now as leg must finish above the knee:

last web link is great, nice swimwear!

by the way the first swim brief I bought is very tight and tiny, it looks like a japanese swimsuit. but the brand is not "famous". I bought it in a men's underwear store that produces their own clothing, here in my country.
I prefer this type much more than the square cut speedo. but if I had the chance to buy a nice square cut one, I wouldn't hesitate!:D

I made this question because I want to have my collection of swimwear (by now I only have one), so I want to get some advice from you. thank you for the advice!

Yes, just who wears what can make a difference and a pair of nice red low rise speedos seem to fit well here.

ordered one a few weeks ago off ebay or off an ebay store. name was keith1178. not sure if putting a direct link is allowed but you can easily google search for it. came in like 3 or 4 days. have worn it at least 2 dozen times already and it still looks great. This is going to be my new favorite swimsuit. been browsing the forms for ever and figure i'd post in and register. So far no complaints with swimsuit.

My girlfriend ordered some hot swimsuits from muscleskins.com. I also have them make my competition posers as well.

The Speedo Solar is hardly skimpy. It may have small sides but compared to many of my other suits it fits rather conservatively... It minimizes the buldge too

Delio Deitz Traxx Swimsuit is a hot suit.

That is hot alright but doubt if it is a "swim suit".

Certainly is NOT a swimsuit, nor a tiny speedo. This is where the term "swimsuit" and "speedo" and "racing briefs" need to be kept apart from the "banana hammock" and "poser" and "thong" and what not.
The former would qualify and be Mom approved for her teen son on the swim team, and be Dad approved for his daughter's male team mates on that team.
The latter is for showing off at the beach, nothing wrong with that, but critics will confuse the two and cause the totally innocent, proper use of briefs by the swimmers to become uncool or unacceptable or perverted or gay.
In recruiting swimmers for the high school team a few years ago one kid asked "well do we have to wear speedos?" And the answer was, "no, but you GET to wear one if you want!"

:) Nevertheless I rather go for the curacao pineapple wherever worn.

Well that depends on what you're hungry for but some of us have to keep it down, be decent around the pool and work with kids. Board shorts are the professional minimum there, when we have to actually get in the water with kids then a jammer is okay. Aside from the age group swim team, when practicing as a Master then the speedo is of course the totally proper attire. At home after the kids are in bed then my wife prefers anything from much much less to absolutely nothing. She tends to gawk less and touch more and that is permitted, LOL

Going back to post#1 this is a (rather unscientific) testing of styles by a morning tv show last year and includes the Team GB blue Adidas which turned out to be the rather popular recommendation.

Not sure whether this is quite the right thread in which to post this vid. but thought the underlit black speedo as posed made a welcome change from the
usual stand-in-the-shallows-at-the-edge-of-the-beach routine.
