Hey Guys--

New to the site, but not new to speedos, as I have been wearing them for about 5 years now. I currently own about 30 pair or so, with Aussiebum being the majority of them. I did pick up the official GB Team Olympic brief a few weeks ago, and wore it to the beach for the first time at Sandy Hook NJ. There were alot of looks, especially when I was walking back to the truck with only the briefs and a backpack.

Im on east coast--looking for anyone who wants to hang out at the beach, if it ever stops raining!

Welcome to the site, we always need new blood to wear their speedos with pride, tell us what we need to know and when we are wrong.

....(but you took four months to post).

The Adidas Team GB suit seems to have gone down well at the NJ beach and it will be interesting to see what turns up on the divers and swimmers in Barcelona in a couple of weeks (I suspect Speedo not Adidas there).

Saw a pic recently of Tom Daley in his typical Team GB blue Speedo but with
sponsorship logos not at all well arranged on the rear.
No British Gas that I could see this time but British Swimming instead and the Union Flag moved over from its previously neat central placement. A word which might be Endurance is also added (all rather a mess)

Whenever, whatever. Feel so sorry for you US guys for whom wearing Speedos becomes some image to ridicule, have accusations of gay etc. FFS. Just wear em. Don't mince or prance (nothing wrong with that in the right circles) just swim and wear them. Am not American....but wore my Speedos to public pool in Monterey. Waterslide. No one cared. But they knew I was a 'foreigner'.

Thanks guys for the posts! Yea, it took me a few months to post up, I was just lurking around for awhile.

I agree that speedos should be the norm here in the US anyway--I dont know why so many people are hung up not wearing them.

For the most part, I don't have any negative comments when I wear mine to the beach, but I did have one the last time--it was from a 275lb lady who started to snicker when I walked by. All she was doing is trying to build her ego up anyway.
