Just thought Id share with everyone, on Friday around South Africa, thousands of men, including myself ran through the streets of Durban, Capetown, Johannesburg, and a few smaller suburbs wearing only speedo's for cancer awareness, I can tell you that everyone went ballistic, the ladies loved it, taking pictures, and the guys cheered us on. Really an awesome experience.
Check the Website and organisers websites with pictures :D below:

Nice speedos (did you get up around Northcliff too?)
Many thousands of suits to be supplied ? - Who made them?
Paid for by Etana ? Why a few yellow amongst the red ?

Was "awareness" the only objective or were you collecting cash for charities too, as is done in the Boston Santa Speedo Run and many other December runs in North America ?

It was part of the entrance fee, you got a free speedo, it is sponsored by Etana. Brand of swimsuit is SecondSkins. I think last year they ran out of red so they supplied a few yellow ones and also a few white, I ran only in Durban, only saw red, but the organisers did encourage those that had run before to re-use their old suits, so its possible a few snuck in somewhere. The whole reason is for Prostate Cancer awareness as well as research, all profit was donated.
