Does anyone know about a men's brief swimsuit brand that appears to have the letters "S&B" in a rectangular or diamond-shaped box on the left front hip? I saw it years ago somewhere but had forgotten about it until a team of US collegiate water polo players wore them in a tournament this weekend! Who makes those suits? Thanks!

 Difficult one - no trace.
What was the date and venue of this tournament? - and what college(s) were taking part ?

The polo tournament was this past weekend - the suits were worn by guys from Connecticut College.

Could S&B be S&R Sport in fact ? (which has a yellow diamond logo and who supply the CC water polo guys with their team suits as made in Europe by Finis).

Yes! I think it must have been S&R, not S&B - the S&R logo in the diamond looks like the one on the polo players' suits. I was trying to read the logo while not appearing to be looking too closely at the young athletes' groin areas, lol... Thanks Byron! Yes, they played at a Naval Academy tournament last weekend.

  It's "MB" that now piles confusion upon confusion for me !
I think we can agree we do not want a mining company from Greece and I have therefore asked S&R where there might be a pic of the suit supplied to the CC water polo team.

Take Brasil suit as example - left hip - easy to see that R could be read as B in the diamond logo:

Btw don't thank me - CC's chief coach most helpful with info.
(have yet to see whether a CC water polo suit might also carry a Finis logo somewhere).

Wow, Byron - you contacted the coach at Connecticut College? I'm just curious about how you worded your inquiry? Did he wonder why you asked about his team's suits?

Also - I did not see any reference to 'Finis' on the suits - the front right side of the suit just showed a 'CC' logo for Connecticut College.

Have used them for my team suits as well. They do a nice job. Not sure if they sell singles.

Yes, some nice water polo suits there but I don't see CC and/or the camel.

"The possibilities are endless" - yes, it always amazes me that someone sits down to produce a design which is distinctive when so many hundreds (or thousands ) must have gone before.

PS for Swimmboy: No problem if one is lucky with a helpful recipient and I just said I was having a dreadful problem to find S&B suits as appeared on the team at the Annapolis tournament last week.

OK - here's a Finis waterpolo brief with logo "in its own right" so to speak:
http://www.finisinc.com/swimwear/water-polo/male-water-polo-brief.html

Finis USA is in Livermore CA and
Finis Europe is in Sofia Bulgaria
(which would fit in with advice
from the CC's coach about them
being made via S&R)
