If you are going to shop on Ebay you really need to pay attention to what you are buying and where it comes from. Name brands out of China are probably fakes (especially if they say size up - Asian sizing) China doesn't honor western copyrights.
If it is a name brand you should really do your homework before bidding. Do a google search for the item and check out alternate sources. Often times you can find the same thing for sale at a regular retail website for much less. (I got a Gregg Homm suit this summer for half of the Ebay price because it was on sale and the last one at a store I found on Google)
I just saw that radioguyradio has a lot of items for sale. In my mind they are grossly overpriced. One item caught my eye as an example. He has a pair of the Aussiebum white nylon speedos for sale for $48.00 plus $5.00 shipping. A quick check of the Aussiebum website shows you can get it new from them for $33.00 INCLUDING shipping. The suit from Aussiebum is new and you can choose size. Radioguyradio's suit is modeled by a man too big for the suit that could mean broken threads and only has XL(20). Thank you, but I'll save the $10 and get a suit I know is new and in perfect condition.
Ebay can be great but it has to be a Buyer Beware attitude when shopping there. I know I got ripped off recently when the garment I ordered came through dirty and worn out - not "clean and gently used". A friend got stuck with Andrew Christian underwear from Hong Kong that was way too small. He checked at their factory store to be told he had a fake and showed him the differences in quality and fabric.
As with any good thing, there are people out there that want to turn a quick buck and don't care who they screw. Five minutes of checking can save money and frustration.
This is the end of my Public Service Announcement!
