I did it boys; accidentally put a bunch of my suits in a hot water wash cycle. I know it is common knowledge to not do this regularly. I am curious as to whether one cycle is going to cause too much damage to elasticity. Is there anything I can do after the fact?

On speedo brand the logo they stick on cam come off. I am careful to separate all briefs jammers and cycling gear to one load for cold even if not huge load of laundry. I think one time might not be too small long as didn’t shrink. Best

I only have a tan through suit.
It is to be hand washed only because of the delicate material.

Think of each of your swim briefs having a life of a random 100 points, each time you swim, rinse and air dry will reduce the life of your briefs by one point. If you leave your swim suit damp and rolled in a towel overnight before hanging up without rinsing could mean 3 points. A day at the beach in bright sunshine, splashing in and out of the sea and slapping on the sun cream while lying in the sand could be another 3 points. Leaving your speedos in a cool, dry, dark drawer for a year could easily knock out 3 or 4 points.
This hot wash with plenty of detergent may have knocked 10-20 points out of your speedo collection. The newer ones won't show any damage but the elastane in the older ones may have given up and the rear of the suit may be hanging around your knees when you get them wet, it's not a good look.
