Now to me, showing my thickest thatch feels super sexy - its like saying "See how skimpy these trunks are? Fortunetly, Iv'e never had to deal with that male situation. My lower pubic hair is always nicely covered and secure in my speedo swim briefs. I'm not into wearing low rise bikini style speedos or an other swim wear that let lower pubic hair stick out for others to see. The only ones seeing my public hair, were my uncle, close female friends or seen in the showers after swimming. That hair is a normal part of our bodies, yet doesn't need to be poking out from close fitting swimsuits or snug underwear. Privately, I've been told when having my favorite extra snug speedos being stripped off, the nice part of soon baring it all, when the well fitting Speedo swimsuit is rolled down just below my lower waist and having an erection still well encased in speedo polyester material, yet much of my pubic pubic hair will be showing, as I'll soon be unspeedoed showing it all, pubic hair included, once naked and erect under the shower.

My pubic hair style very much depends on the style of suit my GF and I have agreed I should wear!

Then I also take a hair trimmer to the rest of my pubic region, below the belt line and on the upper part of my legs. I like to trim the hair fairly short so it looks well groomed and is not a massive bush. I'll generally trim the hair back to a half inch to a quarter inch long. It really is amazing how long some of that hair grows.

I can see validity on either side of the fence so to each their own. Me, I’ve kept my pubes shaved smooth since high school. The opposite sex seems split on their preference or, at least, says they do’l not have a preference. As far as seeing visible bush protruding from the bikini region I can undoubtedly say I would be turned off seeing this on a female, even if she keeps them short.

It's a matter of preference. I keep things shaved most of the time, though I get a bit lazy about it in winter. Know guys who keep it natural. Most of the guys I have been with like it to be at least trimmed.

As I was reading these posts, the timing was perfect as I had just returned from a few days in Florida and was at a very private beach in Fort DeSoto - near St. Pete's. Virtually every man was wearing a thong, and about 80% of them appeared to be completely shaved. I thought they all looked great. Those few who had their pubes on display was a bit much to take. Personally, I have been shaving completely for the past ten years or so. As a swimmer and cyclist, I found that, especially in the summer, heat rashes were really annoying. I tried all sorts of powders and creams, but nothing really did the trick. I had noticed that a number of my teammates manscaped, so I thought I would give it a try. I haven't gone back since. I generally shave every day with a great razor (Fusion), so there are no issues with bumps, burn or in grown hairs. The look is clean and neat - and, for me, kind of erotic.

i shave every couple of weeks as does my wife. she's convinced that i bought the shaver for me. haha! We were at a naked spa in Austria and everyone was shaven there. I shave it all year long. It just feels more comfortable while working outdoors even when I'm fully clothed. Snows here in Colorado up to 8 months per year, but the short summers are intensely hot due to the high elevation. Snow is forecasted for tomorrow, so it's definitely not Speedo weather yet.

I was fair haired in my youth, my pubes are still fine and soft and blend in gently with the hair on my belly, for me it is not an issue, even when my chest and belly were smooth it wasn't something I thought about.
I guess if like the Japanese you have a very smooth chest and belly but thick wiry pubes it might be something people would notice and you'd have to actively hide, trim or show it.

I say keep it neat and trimmed so you don't have any pubes sticking out. That's just nasty. I use a body groomer that shaves pretty low. I can't use a regular razor without getting red bumps or ingrown hairs. I also shave my legs in the spring to help give me some color on my legs. It works! It also helps keeps ticks off my legs when I mow the lawn.

Ah - ok then- so its just me. I have to say that, when you see a sharp thong tan-line (on anyone, male or female), eg in gym or pool changing rooms, its so hot - partly because its a statement "this is what I wore on the beach - everyone could see my bare buttocks". And in the same way, a tan-line that is lower than the man-fur patch is extending the same statement further. I don't have a lot of body hair (I shave my chest) but keep a tidy small black patch of pubes, which is never covered by my MateGear swim briefs. As a gym weight-trainer I like the look and it gets glances and comments - but as they're usually on foreign beaches I never know what's being said (and don't much mind either!).

My wife prefers the well- groomed and clean. She always makes sure that I will be having a clean-shaven shaft and balls. In winter, I get lazy but, most of the times, I keep it clean. My wife doesn't like bushy.

At absolute minimum, trim those pubes back with a groomer or trimmer of some sort.

I have been known to let mine grow out because I am a bit lazy when it comes to that sort of thing, but when it is time to break out the bikini or thong, it is also time to break out the grooming tools!

I take a trimmer to my pubic hair, back hair, and upper legs and trim it all neatly. Then I take my Mach3 blade and shave my cock, balls, and up to my belt line smooth. Under my balls, I shave my taint and have been known to shave between my cheeks to keep the monster hair at bay. Certainly it is easier to keep the back door cleaner in general when you get a lot of that hair out of the way!

Considering that Mategear suits barely cover above the cock, if at all, pubic hair is either going to be seen or not depending on the wearers preference. I looked at myself in the Neptune Scepter suits I wear and they don't cover much above the cock either, so wanting a clean shaven appearance requires a complete shave for me. i have posted several of my suits on here and now NS appears to be cutting the fronts a bit lower. Some time ago, I got a nice trimmer for pubic hair as a gift from my partner(btw, we both use it now lol). It's really useful, because it has different options, if I can call them this way. Especially, I like just to cut short hairs, but not to shave them.
