It's a new month and time for a new challenge, you all did well last month and like August itself this month's colour is bright and light, so this month's challenge is dig out all your yellow, speedos, swim briefs, square-cuts, swim bikinis and swim thongs (lined or unlined) and swim or sunbath in the world's pools and on the world's beaches, or anywhere else you can think of going. When you get home tell us all about it and remember points mean prizes !

This reminds me of an “incident” I had about a year ago. I was wearing my yellow Majdell hot body brief to the apartment pool with my wife and son. As an aside, I had worn this particular brief a handful of times already without incident, including around friends. This time, however, when I got out of the pool to grab some towels, my wife cried out from the other side of the pool, “Look at those buns!”

This caused my female sunbathing neighbor to look up...directly at my crotch as I walked toward my towel. Her eyes were probably a few feet away. Her expression was a mix of amusement and embarrassment, and she quickly looked back down at her book.

My wife told me she could see every detail underneath, including color and texture. So I have not worn them since.

Anyone know of a yellow brief that is opaque enough for public consumption? I don’t think we’ll be going to a secluded beach this year given the age of my son. I do like the look of yellow briefs but would prefer something more “family appropriate” that won’t get me banned from the neighborhood pool.

If you purchase another yellow swimsuit and it is again too opaque, it still is worth keeping. Soaking the suit in black clothing dye should change the color from yellow to a dark green.

I purchased a US4MEN two tone thong microkini earlier this year in red with a yellow trim. My wife hated the combination of colors. So I soaked the swimsuit in black dye. The bright red turned to a darker red and the yellow turned to a dark green. It passed my wife's approval.

Maybe this one? Heavy polyester and black liner.

I think these 5cm side Speedo Endurance may be opaque when wet as fully lined. I'm tempted:

They want £15 postage for them from Italy, that's extortionate.

Wore my yellow Wet Tackle briefs in the shower this afternoon, they seem safe in water, i.e. not transparent.

Just got back from some time at the lake in my yellow Tactics Y-back thong. Didn't get it wet, so no worries about opacity. Spent about an hour out before the biting things came out in force

I’m sure I’ll find a use for the GM suit one day. Just need to find the right beach.

Polo suit looks promising. Might give it a shot.

Yellow is a almost see-thru color. In honor of the CotM challenge I purchased a yellow Kiniki Anton Micro suit and I do like it. This is a medium size. They are unlined and this one in the pic is still damp from an early morning hot tub run.
It does cling well to the body and as you can see, there is some outline of the package elements. For the money this suit is well made, rugged material in comparison to my Japanese speedos. So, Do you think this suit would be okay in the public eye? I may go for one of their flat front suits for the heck of it.

Never had a problem with any Speedo being see-through. Especially not a Polyester/PBT (Endurance+) one.

Thanks Bikiniman; the tan line is almost the same as my Neptune Scepter suits although the cut of the Kiniki is a bit different and the material is thicker. Now I have an interest in the tan-thru suits. I think more even tan coverage would be nice so I am going to give it a try. Might even go for the small size to get a tighter fit, although the medium feels like you wearing nothing.

I finally managed to get to the local sports centre this morning, the swimming pool was closed, I was told that they had dug up the deep end.
I promised that I would only swim in the shallow end.
I didn't get a swim.

I went to Mote Park Swimming Pool, Maidstone, Kent this morning after nightshift.
After changing into yellow Wet Tackle swim briefs I went to the toilets.
The first toilet had no lock, the second toilet had no seat and the third toilet appeared to be locked with no one in it so I used the second toilet.
I used the 2nd toilet, and then flushed it, the flush seemed to cough and splutter and it failed to clear everything. I waited, and waited, and waited, and began to fall asleep waiting but the cistern would not refill enough to flush again. Eventually I pulled the handle and a feeble stream of water came out that cleared nothing. I was losing my desire to actually swim. Eventually I gave up waiting and went on to the showers. There was a strong smell of mould coming from the drains. I gave up, got dressed and went home, not even having gone poolside.
My own yellow swim brief challenge appears to have defeated me.

In my humble opinion, you merit points for the effort. It sounds like that pool has no business being open to the public.

Better late then never.
Tonight swam 1250m in yellow Lycra swim briefs at the good pool, I ran out of time to swim 1500m, was a little late arriving and ladies synchro had been using the pool.
The yellow swim briefs were comfortable, stayed on well and didn't go see through.

Ok I know we're 1/3 of the way through August but I'm still swimming in yellow swim briefs. Tonight I did my 1500m in yellow Wet Tackle briefs. In the water they felt amazing, really lightweight like a 2nd skin. Yet on the poolside they were opaque enough to chat to the lifeguard without fear of being thrown out.
If you want to make a splash you can't go far wrong with Wet Tackle.
My new goggles were brilliant, I could see clearly and they never steamed up.

Am on nightshift tonight but the sun is shining, Hurricane Florence has been down graded to a storm and is heading this way but is pushing warm weather ahead of it so I drove down to Sandwich Bay, famous for St Augustine landing here to spread Christianity to the natives.
I know it's not August any more but I wanted to try out my yellow Desmiit 1.5" briefs and compare them to my 1" Hom bikini briefs. The Desmiit have a lower cut at the rear and I think feel more natural that the high waist, high cut leg of the older Hom style.

Here's me in the Desmiit 1.5" swim briefs today:

To finish off my day on the beach I changed into my new Desmiit swim thong. I walked around in the long grass at the top of the beach and into the open on the beach itself, It felt natural and comfortable to sunbathe and walk about in a brightly coloured swim thong.

Hi mate. Did the puzzle. You look good in the Desmit trunks although I seemed to have 'lost' four pieces of the puzzle! You were basking in the sunshine, we have wind and rain!:)

Towards the end of August Amazon put Arena Santamarinas in yellow on special offer at £5. I tried to buy one but accidently joined Amazon Prime while trying to pay and it took me a couple of weeks to unjoin. Finally I was no longer a member of Amazon and avoided them for a while but discovered the swim briefs of my dreams were still on offer if I bought a camping kettle and can of Campingaz at the same time.
I'm now the proud owner of a large camping kettle, have spare Campingaz and now have the yellow Arena Santamarias of my dreams.

I work shifts and could not find anywhere to swim on late shift week until I discovered Hoo Pool do 50+ swims in the mid mornings. So today I swam 1500 m in my new yellow Santamarias and they look and felt great in the water. With Italian fabrics and styling these must be the hottest 2" side swim briefs about and I think yellow must be my favourite swimwear colour having tried all the colours for these challenges. These yellow swim briefs are fully fined for discretion (though the navy Santamarias are only lined at the front). They look get, fit nicely and feel good in the water, what more could one want.

The 50+ swim session was mostly older overweight ladies in black one piece swimsuits, but they didn't last long and left me with the pool mostly to myself.

Yes I know it's mid October and the challenge ended at the end of August but these were yellow Arena Santamarias and I feel good.

I had a look at those yellow Santamarias online, they look stunning and the colour is fantastic. I am seriously considering whether to get a pair.
