View Full Version : Appropriate for community pool?

I guess I will join in on the latest trend to ask the group whether a particular suit is appropriate for public use.

I am a very shy, conservative married str8 guy that is not one to make statements or bring attraction to himself.

But I absolutely love the fit and feel of this N2N jammer. As many of you know, N2N gear is not lined and is usually designed to 'draw attention' to your masculine parts. So, I am not sure why I love N2N gear so much, but I do.

This jammer is somewhat conservative, but as you can tell it can make things up front a little more prominent than most of my gear (which usually smashes what little I have up front into my body and I look like I have nothing there).

Anyway, my question to the group is... what do you think.. would wearing this jammer at a community pool--which all genders and ages attend--be acceptable? I would wear it with a rashguard.

What are your observations/thoughts?

Well, you're covering your thighs, so what's the problem? :)

I guess I should have been more clear.

I am wondering about the front 'bulge' area.

I'd say not suitable for a community pool. N2N stuff doesn't leave much to the imagination. You need something with a liner.

I know - but the preponderance of long swimwear these days suggests the thigh is an erotic feature of the body.

Of course they are ok for your local pool, if you are shy about them being unlined then wear some briefs under them the first time.

I’m fairly conservative myself, but those look ok to me. I wouldn’t go much lighter in color than that though.

The briefs I wear to the pool are lined, but I have worn unlined square cuts before without incident. I think people's attention gets more drawn to the bulge if the thighs aren’t covered maybe?

Really depends on the crowd though. I’m in Northern California where you won’t see many people wearing tight fitting suits, but they don’t really bat an eye if you do.

Most jammers strike me as more revealing of male form than briefs, since they have so little compression there. They sometimes strike me as "false modesty." The V-front ones can be better in this respect, no seam up the middle.
