David Moore, a Republican legislator, has introduced HB365 in the Montana legislature. If passed, it would ban yoga pants, Speedos, and other tight clothing. Call the Fashion Police!

Apparently the legislature in Montana has nothing more important to debate.

What is the purported reason for the ban?
It never ceases to amaze me that republican prudes are always the ones who get picked up for having gay sex "On The Down Low".

Out of curiosity, I looked on the website of the Montana legislature. This bill is listed as "Tabled in Committee." This usually means that the bill has been set aside, and is unlikely to be reconsidered.

According to The Montana Standard, the proposed bill would:
“…include any nipple exposure, including men’s, and any garment that “gives the appearance or simulates” a person’s buttocks, genitals, pelvic area or female nipple.”

He got laughed at and is being ridiculed worldwide now.
This isn't a partisan thing, nor from lack of anything better to do. It's what happens when an out of shape, teenie-peepee, bible thumping idiot somehow comes to power. Mostly jealousy. Think about it, and always vote carefully.:o

There is a big part of this legislation that I don't get. Put aside swimsuits and yoga pants. Where does one draw the line? Are jeans that show off a bulge off limits? What about guys who are well endowed and show a bulge in dress pants when not even erect? Who decides what is stimulating? A pretty, tall girl in a red dress can do that to some guy...is her attire stimulating. I love Montana, it is a great state with a wonderful wilderness (much like my home state of Maine). But, this is backwoods stupid, even if you put aside the controversial guys in swimsuits or ladies in yoga pants.

There was a piece on the NBC Nightly News tonight which really lambasted the guy who introduced the legislation which was summarily voted in committee to be tabled, meaning that it would not be brought up for discussion. I can't imagine why it was tabled...lol.

Sounds like he is afraid of genitals. Doesn't want to see male bulges or female camel toes. He must be a barrel of fun in the bedroom.
Not knowing the wording of the bill I would have to agree with the yoga pants in public. Just saw a woman at Walmart (that place seems to attract weird) who's yoga pants were so tight you could see the hair on her pussy. Considering she was about 5' tall and weighed 250 pounds -- that no yoga law would have saved a lot of people from a very ugly sight!!

Yes, the bill was tabled immediately and will not be voted on. As I read the story, the clothing he was targeting was tight, revealing yoga pants on women, not really "Speedos". It's too cold in Montana for Speedos, anyway, so calm down guys. And how do you know he was a "Bible thumper"? Maybe he was a 'Quran thumper"?
